This was a email I got from my Aunt in Denver, I was amazed to learn that up until a few weeks ago she had been using a dial-up connection to access the internet!

I’m not new to the internet, in fact, I’ve been using it since the days of dial up. My first computer was a Zenith terminal, that’s right, no harddrive, only a 1200 baud modem to connect to a Unix machine. This was a few decades ago and today technology has excelled at an exponential rate. Up to about a week ago I was a faithful dial-up customer, getting it from my local phone company. The only problem with this service was that although it was supposedly ‘the fastest’ it certainly was slow for me. I made the decision to carefully analyze all my options and I was surprised to to find that Satellite Internet was actually faster and more reliable than my service!

After researching all the companies I decided upon HugesNet, their monthly price was less than everyone else and their reviews are outstanding. I have been using their home Satellite Internet service and I am truely amazed. Now when I go on the Internet everything is faster than ever, I can even watch television shows and movies online, something I could have never done with my old dial up access.

Another great thing about HugesNet is the fact that they have exceptional customer service and are always willing to explain exactly what needs to happen while giving options and making sure all the information is understood. When the service man came to install the satellite he was friendly and courteous and was more than willing to answer my questions. Now I’m using high speed internet and couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
